At the Sights and Sounds we are no stranger to Adventure Club, who have been on the fast rise the past year. Off their recently released EP Calling All Heroes is their first hit titled “Wonder” featuring The Kite String Tangle. In typical Adventure Club fashion, the base of this song is catchy as hell and will leave you craving more. The difference between this track and older AC melodies is the tuned down dubstep is. Less wobbly de wobbly de bwomp, and more layered, slow electro-house sounds that tease you. Just when you think the duo could whip out a nasty drop, they don’t. But don’t worry, this is still pure Adventure Club that will leave crowds breathless.

The Adventure Club boys hit this track on Soundcloud with some clever tags trying to preview what you can expect of from “Wonder.” For instance ‘House,’ ‘Malevocal,’ ‘Tearjerker,’ and ‘Playitforyourgirlfriend.’ You may be thinking, tear jerker? And play it for your girlfriend? Not what first comes to mind for a AC tune. The song is passionately infused with lyrics such as “I know I should have helped you closer, I know I should have treated you better. In a perfect world. But we’re not always what we promise to be.” The male vocals are sexy, apologetic and nurturing at the same time. So hold back your tears, play it for you girlfriend when your in a fight, and everything will be okay. Adventure Club makes everything better, that I can promise you.
