Having only been alerted to David Vrong via his bouncy remix of Lunde Bros “Jump Up” earlier this year, he is an artist who puts himself in great stead for the future with his new single, out now on Ultra Music. “Breaking Out” is a stunning vocal-led track, with a beautiful contribution from Belgian singer Amaëlle.  With the melody developing over a tasty rhythmical progression, lively synths are picked up along the way to create something of a killer combination.

Mutants Records head honcho John Dahlback first spotted him, and it’s clear why his production stood out. Effortlessly combining groove with House beats, Vrong blends vocals and bass lines together to create elevated pieces of glossy dance music. I for one would certainly like to hear future vocal tracks from David Vrong – his ability to combine a top line with underlying funk is refreshing and dynamic.
