Big-room house technician DJ Tiesto has dropped another one of his massive anthemic remixes for Passion Pit‘s recent single “Carried Away.” Driving the engine of this remix is Tiesto’s trademark four-to-the-floor beat and soaring synths, you can almost instantly peg this remix as a Tiesto production just from his ‘soundbrand’. It’s a good and bad thing. As a digital artist I was always told to have a look and feel that people can identify with – your personal brand – while at the same time pushing ourselves to evolve as artists. Here we find Tiesto sitting comfortably in the middle with a remix that isn’t bad, but neither is it anything groundbreaking. What do you think of track?
