Chicago based indie rockers Hey Champ have unleashed a brand new summer pop-rock jam that’s guaranteed to put you in the mood for warm weather, the beach, and enjoying the good life with “Celebrate.” Bouncy percussion intermingles with the layered guitar and shimmering synth work that ultimately coalesce into a soaring hook that should carry you through the end of summer. I’m also really digging the see-sawing, 8-bit inspired synths that melodically pierce through the track on occasion, transitioning the song from one section to the next.
