If you haven’t heard the great news yet, Ben Folds Five have finally reunited and are touring for the first time in a decade. I got to catch them at Bonnaroo this year, and they were flat out amazing. Even better, they just released a taste of their first LP in 13 years! Think back to a time when you could bring liquids on an airplane…that was a long time ago. But in that time, Ben Folds Five haven’t lost their phenomenal ability to make great music. There’s a lot going on in “Erase Me,” beginning with some slower notes that rise into the staple Ben Folds piano banging and edgy guitar riffs that define a lot of their earlier sounds such as in “One Angry Dwarf And 200 Solemn Faces” and “Song For The Dumped.” The wait for more is almost over, as their new album The Sound of the Life of the Mind is schedule for a September 18 release date. Enjoy the BFF below!

As an added bonus for fans of the ‘Weeds’ Tv show, Ben Folds performed the opening credits for the show with a cover of “Little Boxes.” Check it out below.
