Chicago based Kids These Days are back with the official music video for their fantastic throw back track “Doo Wah.” If you listen closely you can hear the group sampling the Pixies’ “Where Is My Mind” in a technique that dates to the early days of hip-hop and jazz when artists would write different melodies over chords of a tune that already existed, known as a contrafact. The track displays the groups’ fantastic vocal ability, from the soulful vocals of Macie and Liam to the smooth lyricism of Vic Mensa.
