As if Australia wasn’t spitting out a massive swell of top notch producers as it was, get ready to accommodate your ear buds to the fresh new sounds of Aussie talent Paces. Hailing from the Gold Coast, Mikey Perry, aka Paces, has just released his newest EP, Julian. Brewing up sounds akin to fellow countrymen Wave Racer and Flume, Paces has a knack for the synth and trap vibes currently dominating the blogospheres. The 4-track EP contains two original works and two remixes to go along.

One of the stand out tracks comes from Melbourne based Chiefs, giving Paces’ “Open Up Your Eyes” a heavier, deeper sound full of hip-hop influences and enough trap to catch a ninja. As for the springy mattress sounds? Put this jam on at the right time, and you might just have something to keep tempo with.
