Last Friday, multi-instrumentalist Jeff Kite took to social media to announce and share new music.

Joining forces with fellow Voidz member Amir Yaghmai and Jon Pancoast to form Coastal Kites, the trio has just released their full-length debut. “Journey Into the Savalin Forest” is a 10 track, 35-minute experimental voyage that is simply in a league of its own.

Kite, a Chicago native, shared the album’s opening track, “Savalin Forest” for the first time last year.

This song served as my introduction to Coastal Kites, and proved to be the driving force behind my anticipation for this album. “Journey Into the Savalin Forest” has exceeded my expectations, displaying the true talent, chemistry, and artistic versatility held by each member.
