I absolutely love when electronic artists show a softer side to their massive drops and driving beats and decide to drop an acoustic edit of one of their tracks. Zedd did one a couple months back with “Clarity” and now Dutch producer/DJ Ferry Corsten has taken his smash “Not Coming Down,” featuring the gorgeous vocals of Betsie Larkin, and slowed it down to a grand ballroom slow dance. Imagine walking down the central staircase, piano chords responding to your every footstep as you take in all the party guests staring at you. That’s where this song belongs, in every romance story where the girl is suddenly seen as absolutely beautiful by the leading male. If the acoustic version with grand staircase et al is not your thing, I’ve added the original edit just for you.
