Out now via Australian dance label VELCRO is a new one from electro party animals 1DAFUL. The duo consist up of MC TB1 and David A on production, and together they know how to stir up one helluva strong drink of EDM. “This Is Life” is a fine example of this; dance music is designed to get people moving and having fun, and this track couldn’t illustrate better. There’s nothing worse than electro that takes itself too seriously, so “This Is Life” adds some much needed refreshment to the scene.

Straight from the offset a pumping intro takes hold, soon followed by the encouraging vocal snippets of TB1. It’s a track that keeps giving, adding layers and textures as the melody becomes more prominent. Then there’s the drop. You’ll know it when it happens, don’t worry about that. Weighty percussion and a grinding bass line roll beneath the now heightened sense of rhythm and energy.

“This Is Life” is not for those who like subtle beats. It’s bold, passionate and best of all, really fun to listen to. You can join the party here.
