Sometime it’s hard to imagine our favorite producers and DJs’ personalities outside of their stage persona. All we see of them is their onstage act, a face they are forced to put on so that they look their best while playing hit songs for the masses, whether they feel like it or not. It comes easier for some than others, but at the end of the night they all have to leave the stage and continue leading their lives, however close it comes to their onstage appearance or not. It’s the moments in between sets that the fans rarely get a glimpse into, the real moments where real emotions are played out outside of the highs that their music brings. After all, even the international, selling out arenas, six figure income DJs are human.

That’s the theme for Krewella‘s official music video for their electro-dubstep smash, “Human.” A glimpse into the last two years on their rise to fame, “Human” showcases both the extreme highs and extreme lows of life on the road. It’s something a lot of people with they could do, without ever realizing the sacrifices that are associated with it.
