[ELECTRO/JAZZ] Extraordinary Magnitude Vs. Blackstreet - "No Diggity 2013"

Extraordinary Magnitude is a massive collaboration if I’ve ever seen, and heard, one. With the electro funk and soul becoming so popular recently, the supergroup, also referred to as Exmag, consists of the talented think tank of Gramatik, Eric Mendelson, Drastiq, Buffalo Analog, and Illumntr.

While this track seemed to have dropped a little while back, it’s the first time I’ve come across it, and so chances are you may not have heard it yet either. The amazingly catchy single “No Diggity” by Blackstreet always finds me singing along to the now infamous lyrics and while the backdrop might change, the actors’ dialogue always remain the same. “No Diggity 2013” is one of the instrumental tracks on Exmag’s upcoming debut album Proportions mashed up with the “No Diggity” lyrics. The resulting production is a mellowed out electro funk/acid jazz piece that you should find to your extreme liking.

“We thought it worked really good together so we decided to drop it as a remix. The instrumental version is a completely original song and will be featured on the album.” -Exmag

Watch for Proportions to be out sometime this summer on Lowtemp.
