There’s not much better than when some of your favorite genres of music are combined to create an elegant, yet powerfully original track that just blows your eardrums. So it is with Gramatik‘s new single “You Don’t Understand” off his upcoming EP, The Age of Reason. Layering elements of electro funk, soul, and jazz, “You Don’t Understand” makes me feel like I completely get where the artist is coming from. I grew up on jazz, and to hear it so beautifully incorporated with the EDM sounds of today gets me very excited to hear the future of this genre.
