For those of you inclined to keep your genres in OCD order, technically Ghost Beach defines this sound as Tropical Grit Pop. But whatever you want to call it, the NY duo has captured some bouncy synth work with their soaring vocals to produce a perfectly tuned summer jam with “Moon Over Japan.” Produced by Dave Weingarten and mixed by Nic Hard, “Moon Over Japan” contains that same dancy pop vibe we’ve grown to love from the duo. Catchy in the best ways with plenty of replay value during the warm days, the single comes off Ghost Beach’s forthcoming debut EP due out later this year.
