With music, I never truly feel like I am completely alone. The emotions and stories told through the melodies and bass lines of any track can keep me company in the darkest of nights and in the most secluded of spots. A welcome sound to my ears on this dark night comes from Chicago electro-soul producer Manic Focus, bringing back his signature sound with a soulful remix of Colorado duo Krooked Drivers‘ new track “Nothing Is Lonely”. Blending bombastic basslines with a funky top line and swooping synths, Manic Focus’ production is anything but desolate, wrapping you up in a warm blanket of comforting sounds that can chase away all those empty feelings.
