When it comes to the amount of amazing music being released around the world at the moment, there is hardly another country on the planet that can compare to the level of talent that is currently being produced in Australia. With artists such as Ta-Ku, Miami Horror, Owl Eyes and Atlas Genius all releasing top notch material as well as an arm of the Red Bull Music Academy fostering impressive growth, how can it get much better? How about a powerhouse collab between Aussie colleagues Flume and Chet Faker, teaming up to release a new EP titled Lockjaw. This isn’t the first time the two have collaborated, as Chet is featured on Flume’s “Left Alone”, however “Drop The Game” came only after a four day writing session at Sandy Point and Narre Warren, Victoria. A syrupy, chilled production, “Drop The Game” carries with it the bouncy beats of Flume married with Chet Faker’s soulful vocals for a thoroughly delicious affair.
