Chicago based Kids These Days have just released the official music video and audio for the new single, “Don’t Harsh My Mellow,” off their upcoming album Traphouse Rock, due out this fall. “Don’t Harsh My Mellow” is definitely a more rowdy song than we are used to hearing from Kids These Days, but they pull it off with a sort of grace that works to reel you into the music. Featuring Vic Mensa’s impeccable flow throughout the beginning of the track, the rest of the group joins in the minor chord raucous as the song crescendo’s toward the end. Directed by Austin Vesely & Elijah Alvarado, “Don’t Harsh My Mellow” has gotten me very excited to see what these kids have in store on their next album.
