Echoes of Silence is the third and final mixtape installment from genre bending producer The Weeknd. I know I’ve missed posting the first two mixtapes, entitled House of Balloons and Thursday respectively, but you can find and download them free straight from The Weeknd’s site.

It’s hard to put your finger on what kind of sound The Weeknd is, but one thing’s for sure: it is good. House of Balloons is widely considered to be one of the best albums of the year, and following it up with two more outstanding mixtapes is a fantastic move that other artists should take note of. Check out Echoes of Silence below, and if you need somewhere to start, make sure you listen to “D.D.” or “Initiation.”
