If you do one thing today, you have to listen to this beautiful cover of Phoenix‘s “1901” from British singer Birdy. This is the first time I’ve heard of this girl, but she has a great sound to her. You can check out a remix of her cover of Bon Iver’s “Skinny Love” here. Birdy takes the French group’s upbeat indie/electro jam and bares it down to the bone, making it her own with beautiful vocal harmonies and some cool violin. Check out the cover below.
