Last month TV On The Radio dropped a brand new track titled “Mercy” which had the blogosphere alight with rumors of a new LP despite official word to the contrary. Now the group has given us their second new single in just a month’s time, titled “Million Miles,” which has also debuted with an official video. A delicately layered ballad, “Million Miles” captures a softer side of the New York group that plays well with the hippie friendly visuals of the video (Can anyone tell me what type of drugs they are taking?).

Directed by Kyp Malone and Natalia Leite, TV On The Radio’s Malone tells NPR “It’s fun to take the idea of a song outside of the world of sound, give it fuller expression, expand its dimensions. I’ve wanted to collaborate with [director] Natalia [Leite] since I first saw her work and I thought this would be a good opportunity. We got a lot of help from a lot of creative people. Very excited to get to tell a story in this form.”
