We were delighted to have the chance to grab a few words with Belgian producer and DJ Eptic this week, as he’s just dropped another immense EP through dubstep label Never Say Die. One who always delivers, we can’t wait to hear more from this talent as the year progresses.

We’re so happy you’re dropping another EP. How long did this one take you to write?

Glad to hear! It took a few months, I’m a pretty slow writer and had to make everything in between finishing college and touring.

Did you have specific inspiration behind creating “Immortal”?

Some are claiming that dubstep is dying out or even dead. I wanted to make a solid EP to prove that it’s still alive and kicking, hence the title!

Out of your three original tracks, do you have a favourite and why?

Definitely “Jurassic”, I just had so much fun writing it! The aggressive second drop seems to scare people at shows as well,  haha 🙂

“Ectoplasm” sees you collaborate with MUST DIE! Talk us through how that track got made.

That was a fun one to do! I made it to serve as an intro for my shows, but I felt like it was missing something. I asked MUST DIE! to do a feature on it since he’s one of my favorite bass peeps in the game, and he just smashed it out.

If you could sum up the EP in three words…

Cheese Master 3000.

Do you have plans for a possible album in the pipeline?

Yes I’m definitely aiming for an album! I’ve finally finished college which gives me 3000x more time then before. An album just feels like the right thing to do!

Nab “Immortal” here.
