This is one remix I didn’t see coming but am very happy it did. Trap master Baauer, infamous for the “Harlem Shake”, has taken AlunaGeorge‘s single “Attracting Flies” and infused it with his signature trap and bass sounds to bring some club energy to the mix. At first listen you might think it’s a bit more mellow than his previous work, but rest assured the vocal chops and grimy bass pick up at the chorus. Alternating between AlunaGeorge’s gorgeous vocals and the hip-hop inspired beats, Baauer’s mix has more versatility than one might think at first glance.
