Versatile DJ producer duo Z & Z recently released their epic melodic bass single “The Climax.” Featuring a plethora of cinematic elements, the atmospheric beginnings of the release foreshadow an epic and unforgettable drop. Though just under three minutes in length, “The Climax” quickly builds anticipation and leaves you wanting more long after it’s over. The Eastern-influenced flute is just one feature that makes the sound design on “The Climax”especially captivating.

Allen had this to say about the release of the duo’s new single, “I got my inspiration from the Interstellar soundtrack. I love the ethereal movements and suspense throughout the movie so I wanted to create a song that felt like you’re traveling through space and then you find a hostile alien planet or a wormhole.”

Over the past few years, the duo has risen to stardom in the local Salt Lake City area and now headlines some its largest nightclubs and music festivals. Opening for international headliners such as Diplo and Laidback Luke, Z & Z has earned recognition from The Chainsmokers.
