Seven Lions kicks off summer with a brand new single.

Lost in my thoughts again, you can look for me but I’m hiding in places “Where I Won’t Be Found”.

Continents of emotion – islands of feeling floating within meters of each other and yet invisible. Sometimes it’s as if we don’t even know where to look, let alone float.

And as the music dies down once again, I’m resuscitated back into the office – found once again under the white lights and glowing screens.

Released via Seeking Blue, Seven Lions’ “Where I Won’t Be Found” is a mainstream departure from where I last left him. Granted that was a while ago.

Understandably, artists need to experiment with their sound, however this feels more like a following of a sound than a divergence of it.

Nevertheless, the electro-tinged track carries the signature Seven Lions euphoric bass sounds, if only briefly, and features the emotionally evoking vocals of NÉONHÈART.

Seven Lions’ forthcoming EP of the same name is due June 26. Old school fans might be hoping there’s still some heavier sounds to come, but we’ll have to wait and see.
