As a thank you to all their fans, and as a mile marker for hitting 10K followers on Twitter, electro funk duo Oliver have released their groovy, and full of funk remix of the classic 1978 Blondie single “Heart Of Glass” in collaboration with Thee Mike B. While Blondie wasn’t necessarily an artist I grew up on, I recognize the vintage track from old records my parents used to play and can really get into a revival of the disco era sounds. Oliver and Thee Mike B manage to give “Heart Of Glass” a funky modern update that still manages to capture that disco soul of the original and the outcome is an extremely danceable mix that music lovers of all ages should enjoy.
