Montreal based duo Adventure Club are back with a massive new single that would have been perfect for all those outdoor winter music festivals – if there were any. Well, at least there aren’t any in the Midwest, but you can bet that this banger will see a lot of play on the dance floors this fall. “Thunderclap” features a big room synth sound that builds over a driving house beat before dropping into a sound reminiscent of Martin Garrix’s “Animals.” While “Thunderclap” definitely brings the energy, the high tribal synth with the low bass sounds in the drop have been a bit played out this summer in my opinion.
