I love Fridays. I don’t think I would trust the person who doesn’t. Fridays stand for the weekend, being free from responsibility, and just letting lose in general. Accordingly, I thought it was appropriate to share this piece of happy house to start your weekend off right. Edinburgh-based Unicorn Kid has given Darwin Deez‘s raucous rock track, “Free,” a warehouse anthem make over that gives the single a whole new sound with simplified lyrics and dreamy power synths. “Free” will live off Darwin’s forthcoming LP, Songs for Imaginative People, due February 12 via Lucky Number.
