With his incredible new single featuring Alicia Madison out this week, and with the likes of Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike singing his praises, we thought we’d find a little more out about Belgian producer and DJ DIMARO, including how he made his latest track.

Where did the inspiration come from in the creation of “Under The Stars”?

I wanted to create an original EDM  festival track with a powerful vocal.

How much input did you have in the writing of the vocal parts with Alicia?

None! I trusted Alicia completely. She’s such a talented singer/songwriter who has already worked with big artists like Laidback Luke and Starkillers.
 

With all the shows you have been doing over the summer, is there one memory you could take away from it?

This year I played at Tomorrowland for the 6th time and I never get used to it! I’m always nervous before starting my set. The atmosphere, the setting, the crowd.. Everything is just so breathtaking. It’s like Disneyland for House Music  lovers!

Can we expect future releases from you through Bip Records and or House Garden?

I have a big scoop for you guys. My next release is signed to Smash The House Records. Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike’s very own imprint! Very proud of it!

EDM has exploded over the past couple of years, especially over in America, where do you see it going in the future and how do you see your sound changing?

In my opinion EDM covers more than just festival music. It will become more and more a mixture of house, dance, trance, progressive, electro house influenced by several musical trends. I see my sound evolving in any style if feel comfortable in… I want to think outside the box and not fix myself into one style.
