The excitement around Lightning In A Bottle 2015 has been building all year. And now with less than a few short days until the event kicks off, I couldn’t be more giddy – like 9-year old me opening an N64 on Christmas morning giddy. With one of the best festival lineups of the season, plus a spattering of alternative and additional shows, speakers, classes, and artists, LIB’s offerings can be overwhelming to the first timer. What to do? What to see? Who to skip to see that person? When to sleep to get it all done in time? All these questions and more can make for an exciting and hectic weekend, so we put together a little cheat sheet to help guide you through the musical side of Lightning In A Bottle this year.

It’s no surprise to see the headliners make this playlist early on. Performances by Flume, ODESZA, Lucent Dossier Experience (whose live show is not to be missed), Tycho, and GRiZ will draw the big crowds for some of the most electrifying shows of the week. However, it’s the undercards everyone should be crazy about.

Boasting an eclectic mix of sound that separates itself from the mainstream EDM crowd, LIB has created a platform for all music lovers to find old favorites and new gems alike. For those seeking a more wordly, bass vibe, make sure to catch acts such as Phutureprimitive, D.V.S*~, The Human Experience, KOAN Sound, and Pumpkin. On the upswing, you can find yourself jamming out to summer feels and tropical house from Thomas Jack, Bakermat, Goldroom, and SNBRN. Indie fans can take solace in main stay acts such as Polica, SOHN, Made In Heights, and AlunaGeorge. Finally, two acts I highly suggest making time for come in the form of electronic jazz and soul pioneer FKJ (French Kiwi Juice) and deep house master Bob Moses.

Stream the full 25 track playlist below and get psyched for what promises to be an amazing weekend at Lightning In A Bottle.
