It’s a good year to be a music lover in the midwestern United States.

With an already overwhelming line of must see festivals slated for the summer of 2020, you can safely add another to your long list. From May 15th-17th, Sonic Temple will return to Columbus, Ohio for yet another monster weekend of music. The festival will feature some of the biggest names in music, including Slipknot, Anthrax, Tool, Deftones, Rancid, and Dropkick Murphys. Aside from hosting some of the most legendary rock groups in history, the three day festival will also feature the likes of Flatbush Zombies, Cypress Hill, Sublime With Rome, and Suicidal Tendencies.

After many fans were left disappointed by the sudden cancellation of Metallica, festival organizers worked extra hard, making honest efforts to ensure that goers would maintain the same level of excitement for the weekend. Replacing the legendary metal group will be none other than the newly reunited, Blood Sugar Sex Magik era lineup of Red Hot Chili Peppers. As of now, this performance will mark the first time in over a decade that legendary guitarist, John Frusciante, will hit the stage as a member of the famed funk group.

If you love music, this is a weekend that you simply cannot miss. Sonic Temple will provide an eclectic list of headlining acts, giving goers an excellent taste of sounds from every genre. Do not hesitate to purchase tickets, as level one weekend passes have already sold out.
