With riddim being all the rage on the dubstep scene right now, we are often quick to forget just how marvelous well-crafted melodic dubstep can be. This bass music subgenre has definitely flourished over the past few years behind names like Adventure Club & Seven Lions. Having said that, it would be utterly impossible to locate a producer that has been releasing more drop-dead gorgeous tracks on a regular basis than T-Mass. So while his reputation might not yet measure up to some of the bigger draws in the dance music industry, we are here to tell you that it is only a matter of time until the tables turn.

Opening with soft piano work sprawled out over incredibly passionate vocal samples, his remix of Tygris’ “Lyra” keeps you firmly locked-in from the first note until the last. When the introduction finally reaches its peak, the drop then crescendos into a whirlwind of unforgettable chord progressions and polished synth patterns. As the song continues to unfurl, you begin to realize that this is not your standard melodic dubstep tune – it is far more. New T-Mass is always a cause for celebration, so please come join the party.
