Rising bass artists Focus Fire and Nanoo recently released their dubstep-influenced independent collaboration “Spire” sure to heat up the dancefloors this winter. Focus Fire and Nanoo both already had solid solo careers with Nanoo releasing on Play Me Records while Focus Fire previously released on Martin Garixx’s label, STMPD Records. Their talent when they come together is undeiable as experienced through their epic drops, heavy basslines, and catchy percussion. “Spire” is Focus Fire’s first single after taking a year-long hiatus from releasing any music or playing any shows.

Focus Fire had this to say about the release of his new single, “A lot of the inspiration that we had to create Spire came from our love of video games. Spire blends both of our uplifting and aggressive styles of music. Nanoo, our collaborator on the song, provided some crazy sound design for the basses and some really unique ideas for drop arrangement, it really made the record as diverse as it is! I think the best description of Spire that we can come up with is that it feels like the intro music to a boss fight in a video game, and the chaos within the drop illustrates the battle that takes place in the aforementioned fight.”
