Ten Minute Detour Sheds Their Old Skin With New Indie-Rock Single
From the back of an old shed to shedding old skins,
Ten Minute Detour are leaving the garage rock behind and dawning a more expansive, gripping sound.
With a fresh coating of “Can we just start again” to kick off 2018, many are feeling the re-surgence of some semblance of control in their life.
Do with it what you will, but my hope is that you leverage the refresh by shaking off the dust and carpe diem-ing the shit out of the now. The right now.
Throw off what doesn’t serve you. Do what Ten Minute Detour does – evolving from cold wood sheds to the heated warehouses (In this case, literally).
What will it take for you to shake off ill-serving habits?
How about starting by hitting play below and shaking your body? Maybe something will let loose in the meantime.
Stream Ten Minute Detour – “Woodshed” below:
Formed in 2013 using popular classified ad site Kijiji, Ten Minute Detour cut their teeth from a small, detached heatless garage in Calgary, Alberta, where they set the foundation for Lay It Down, the bands debut full-length album. Fast forward to the now and you can find the group working on their next two records from the heated attic of an industrial warehouse – new digs, new sounds.
