This kid Twine is on some next level business! His wildly successful 2014 campaign has already been highlighted by multiple EP releases and thumping single after thumping single. If you’ve seen a live EDM performance in the last half year, there’s a 99.9% chance that one of the artists on the bill busted out some Twine tunage at one point or another. Seriously, when names like 12th Planet, Datsik, Excision, FuntCase, & Getter are scrambling to expose your newborn bass babies to the world, it’s difficult not to blush a little bit.

For his most recent escapades, Twine took his talents straight to the headquarters of SMOG Records. Since surfacing early last week, his five-track Killing Machine EP has received an inordinate amount of praise from both fans and producers alike. Songs like “Killing Machine” & “Testify” made us turn our heads at first, but “Throwback Thursday” was the track that got us the most amped of all! The hilarious vocal samples, those unimpeded fluctuations of bass, and some of the most serious synth work you’ll ever witness help make this banger into one to remember.  Also known for being a master of hybrid compositions, both “Trillaz” & “Trypto” revolve around this producer’s incorporation of trap music characteristics. Twine is setting the bar awfully high, but we have no doubt that he’ll continue to leap right over it.
