“Do you know that feeling you can get when something special is happening?”

Mr. Probz has teamed up with one of hip hop’s biggest disruptors, Anderson .Paak, on his jazzy new single “Gone.” When speaking on the collaboration Mr. Probz remarks, “Do you know that feeling you can get when something special is happening? I mean, not that you’re thinking about it and react on that thought, but you actually KNOW that there is something really special going on and get that natural tingle.”

The artist recalls discovering Anderson .Paak, “So yeah, that’s the feeling I got when I first heard Anderson on ‘Suede’ (a collaboration with NxWorries red.). I think my immediate response to my manager was something like; wow, we need to contact this guy asap and get him on a track the day before yesterday.”

While .Paak’s sonically charged tenor is bound to grab the attention of listeners, Mr. Probz flows are just as infectious. The Dutch artist oscillates between catchy pop bars and biting hymns. Probz lays the groundwork for .Paak’s undeniably fashionable verse. “Life went up and I’m gone” repeats the chorus. The track is a head nodder turned head banger, with Mr. Probz bringing the structure and .Paak bringing the heat.
