The 2018 lineup for Sasquatch dropped this week and its eclectic to say the least
The headliners are pretty consistent–you can’t get more nu-rock than Bon Iver, The National, and Modest Mouse – but the down line crew is pretty diverse.
Tyler, The Creator, Anderson .Paak, and Vince Staples should satisfy the hip-hop heads. They’ve got a solid throwback in Neko Case and acts like Thundercat and Snakehips should be solid sets to get down to.
Tank and the Bangas are a really underrated group farther down the lineup that’ll do their best to bring a little New Orleans soul to the west coast.
The Sasquatch organizers definitely covered all their musical bases this year but if I had to recommend one must-see set it would have to be Julien Baker.
I was lucky enough to see the Memphis-born Baker earlier this year and she absolutely blew me away. This clip won’t do her justice but you’ll get the idea.
She got pipes, incredible emotionality, and is also charming as hell.
All plugs aside, Sasquatch 2018 looks like its going to be an amazing time this year.
Tickets go on sale here Saturday, February 10th at 10 AM Pacific time.
