We first featured LA based Goldroom back in March with their upbeat single “Only You Can Show Me” featuring the vocals of Mereki, then again a couple weeks ago when NY duo The Knocks gave the single their distinct dance and funk infused vibes. As if returning the favor, Goldroom has just released a chilled out disco remix of The Knocks‘ new single “Modern Hearts” featuring the voice of Heavy Roc colleague St. Lucia. Goldroom creates a uniquely danceable remix by borrowing elements from a couple different genres, including a little deep house groove, a dash of nu-disco, and a touch of that west coast chillwave atmosphere.
