With the diversity between the big music festival line-ups across the states lessening, Riot Fest offers us a breath of fresh air for what they have prepared for the weekend of Sept. 12th – 14th in Humboldt Park. The bands we all grew up listening to are back this summer as Riot Fest celebrates it’s 10th birthday in Chicago, and we couldn’t be more excited about it.

Headlining Acts such as The Cure, Jane’s Addiction, and Rise Against provide just the tip of this festival’s iceberg as supporting acts Weezer, The Flaming Lips, Saosin w/ Anthony Green, Taking Back Sunday, The Used, NOFX, Circa Survive, and many, many more will be joining to wrap up the end of festival season in Chi-Town. This festival is unique in nature as it focuses heavily on Punk from the 1980’s, Alternative from the 1990’s, and Screamo from the 2000’s along with random gems thrown in between.
