French label/collective On and On recently released a stacked compilation album titled 1Ø1, including twenty-two beats that fade in and out of hip-hop, trap, future r&b, jazz, indietronica, and soft pop. With vibrant sythns, deep bass lines, heavy and intricate production, and solid percussion/beat structures, there truly isn’t a bad instrumental on this album. A group of talented, emerging beatmakers and exclusive tracks? Yes, please!

One of my personal favorites off of this compilation is the single “Nerdy” by German-based producer Shuko. Beginning with warm, harmonized synth tones and a chilled-out beat, this is one that gets the head-bobbing going. The constant click-clacking of the drum sticks and the flowing, repetitive synths throughout the track create an environment that is pristine for relaxing and far from boring. For the main hooks, he includes some heavenly background vocals and some perfect soulful vocal samples that really add some solid emotion to the single. Purchase links below!
