I’ve recently noticed a new artist constantly popping up on my Soundcloud feed by the name of Luca Lush.

His work is very distinctive; his library consists of a variety of remixes of everything from popular radio hits to much lesser known tunes. The artwork for each track is a purple portrait of the remixed artist on a plain white background.

The best part about this collection is it spans what seems like an infinite number of genres. Luca Lush mainly goes for a future bass/trap sound, but you really never know what to expect; on “So Far Above,” he throws some saxophone house into the mix.

On his latest track, a remake of Young Thug’s “Best Friend,” he gives us a crazy future bass remake of the Atlanta rapper’s hit track. Ever since I discovered this remix and Luca Lush’s Soundcloud, I haven’t been able to stop listening. It’s been a while since an artist I’ve discovered has impressed me this much.
