“The Autumnal Equinox is an optimal time to clarify your intention and direction. This is a time to re-envision and re-energize your goals.”

Lighthearted acoustic melodies are a key factor in enjoying autumn to its fullest.

The Autumnal Equinox was celebrated around the Northern Hemisphere yesterday, marking the first official day of fall. Who better than Mumford and Sons to give us a cozy new track to set this scene for the new season.

In fact, the alt-rock gods are blessing us with a new full-length album from the group. Delta is set to be released on Nov. 16th.

Save the date! It’s their first release in nearly three years.

“Guiding Light” is the track that paves the way of what’s to come for Mumford and Sons.

It’s the first preview off the forthcoming body of work, and was released over the weekend on BBC Radio 1.

As a sucker for some sentimental songwriting, this track kindled a flame inside me.

Mumford and Sons publicly stated that they view the single as “a dizzying folk-rock song that builds, builds, explodes and then explodes again.”

LISTEN TO “GUIDING LIGHT”:

Delta (prod. by Paul Epworth) was recorded in the band’s founding hometown of London at The Church Studios. It’s their fourth studio album, and follows number-one-spot holder Wilder Minds and Grammy-winning Babel.

Mumford and Sons announced that they have a world tour planned following the release of Delta.

Stay tuned as they drop dates and details on their various social media outlets.
