While this song is starting to get a bit old in terms of music on the blogosphere (anything over a week is usually old news), SOARING’s remix of “Visions” by Austin based electro-pop group Letting Up Despite Great Faults is a track I wanted to share with you readers. I first stumbled across this track after a friend of mine and I got into a conversation about the new Postal Service album. After some back and forth talk about whether or not their sound was still relevant, he proposed I listen to “Visions” in what he refers to as a modern day PS. You should be able to catch the similarities between the two groups on first listen, and whether or not you think it stands over Postal Service is up to you, but we’d still love to hear your opinion in the comments section below.
