Buku Music + Arts Project will return to New Orleans’ Mardis Gras World for its sixth year, and the recently dropped lineup pulls no stops. This year the festival, which takes place over three stages March 10th-11th at the famous Mardi Gras World, is headlined by canadian EDM mainstay Deadmau5 and Texas based hip hop/trap artist Travis Scott. The lineup is heavily skewed towards electronic music and hip hop, with other confirmed artists such as ZHU, Zeds Dead, Young Thug, Jauz, Tycho, Vince Staples, but also presents a few rock acts such as Sleigh Bells and Car Seat Headrest. Described by organizers as a “Quirky Boutique Event”, this fest will have a warehouse party vibe to it, with artists and street performers featured prominently in the industrial venue.
Early Bird tickets are already sold out, but general admission, GA plus (which offers access to VIP viewing areas), and VIP tickets are on sale here. VIP, in addition to premium views and an open bar, also grants fest goers to a special riverboat stage, the SS Buku, with exclusive performances on the Missisipi River from artists such as Ganja White Night and Chet Porter.
