I should hire Koven to be the permanent caretaker for my ears because whenever one of their productions enters my aural cavity, I’m instantly overwhelmed by a surge of serenity. Max Rowat (the producer/dj) was putting out music on his own for a good portion of 2013. However, now that he’s officially added a new vocalist back to Koven, they appear to be an invincible duo once again. An extraordinary one at that! With uplifting vocals that elevate your spirits to previously inconceivable heights and intuitive instrumentation that would leave the musicians of Chicago’s Symphony Orchestra salivating, “Another Home” is a bass-driven beauty. Allow yourself to be overpowered by the beyond breathtaking sounds of Koven, it’s quite the experience.
