San Fransisco based artist Charlie Yin, better known by his stage moniker Giraffage, has taken Alice DeeJay‘s 1998 smash dance hit “Better Off Alone” and given it a modern synth update. Giraffage gave his remix more of a chillwave feel, which sees the track on a more subdued path, but never lacking energy. The trademark synths stabs are ever-present (and how could they not be?) in the Euro-dance single, replete with vocal chops and additional synth runs so that the remix stays true to the original, yet sounds altogether different.
