A muggy Chicago day. Overcast and drizzling. Just another unpredictable day in Chicago. I walk down an alley next to Lincoln Hall in Chicago and am greet warmly by the guys of X-Ambassadors. For the next few hours I quietly observe as the band sets up their equipment for the night’s show. From load in to the performance, X-Ambassadors was warm and a pleasure to be around.

I was also fortunate to spend some time with fellow touring artist Jamie N Commons. A man whose music sent chills down my spine. A voice so powerful it truly made my hairs stand on edge.

X Ambassadors performance was nothing short of amazing, these guys sincerely play their heart out to the crowd and do so in a beautiful fashion. Brothers Sam and Casey Harris exude character and life as they play every note. While Noah and Adam personify the confident cool laid-back musician role. The band left no album untouched. From songs off “Love Songs Drug Songs” to “The Reason” the band treated the Chicago to a variety of songs.

The one thing both X-Ambassadors and Jamie N Commons share is a passion and love for music and their fans. They weren’t the guys who just stayed backstage, they were walking around and more than receptive to giving love to their fans.

A very special day of good music and good times. Till next time and with photos as always.

See You In The Pit,

Greg
