For anyone going through any pre-Valentine’s Day break-ups or just feeling emotional, VÉRITÉ just released the perfect song for the occasion.

The pop singer/songwriter has worked with hip-hop artist Pell to rework one of our favorite break-up songs.

The emotional pop song was originally a track off her debut album Somewhere in Between which was released last fall. However, she has come back to shake up our moods, reintroducing a fresh rendition of the song.

In this version of ‘Bout You’, VÉRITÉ takes us through all the drama and feelings of a break up, while Pell stirs our pot of emotions further with his verse about sex as a product of the relationship mess.

If you’re feeling some type of way, listen to VÉRITÉ x Pell ‘Bout You’ on Spotify. I dare you to try not to sing along to the chorus while thinking about your worst ex.

In addition, (and during the writing of this article) VÉRITÉ premiered the surreal music video for her single, “Saint”.

“Beyond excited to share the music video for ‘Saint,’” VÉRITÉ shared. “I wanted to make something simple, striking and odd with a hint of femme fatale serial killer.”
